Holiday Dreams Cirque Show to Dazzle Downtown Clarksburg

Clarksburg, WV – It’s a holiday show unlike ever before! The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County and The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center are proud to present Holiday Dreams, A Spectacular Holiday Cirque! as it premieres in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 7:30 pm. This event is made possible by the Barbara B. Highland Fund for the Arts.

Holiday Dreams, A Spectacular Holiday Cirque! is a ground-breaking holiday show that incorporates acrobats, aerialists, comedians, daredevils, and award-winning specialty acts performing incredible feats using the latest in visual and technological "magic" such as holograms, projection mapping, and interactive lasers. Created with the mission that it must appeal to children and grown-ups alike, the show is a tour-de-force that includes music, dance, comedy, and a lovable and funny story—all wrapped up in a holiday theme!

Creator, Producer and Director, Fernando Quevedo grew up in a circus: "I remember being very young, growing up in Europe and watching my father perform in an amazing circus and it was magical! The artists came from all over the world and performed incredible acts that mixed entertainment as well as daring routines. When I came to America shortly after, I was inspired by the grandiosity and lavishness of Vegas shows. They were amazing! The only problem was that they were all shows made for adults. Why not create a show with all the incredible elements of 'grown-up' shows but made for the whole family?” That's when Holiday Dreams was born.

The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County believes that the arts are vital to the growth and development of our communities and the goal is to make this exciting live performance available to the community as safe as possible. Tickets will be sold in a socially-distanced manner with each order/party separated from the next by a distance of at least 6-feet. All patrons will be required to wear a face covering.

"The Cultural Foundation is grateful for the opportunity to bring such a magical and exciting Christmas show for the whole family to enjoy together," said Andy Walker, president of The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County. "It is through the generosity of the late Barbara B. Highland, and her love for the arts, that we are able to bring world-class performances, such as Holiday Dreams, to Harrison County."
