Legacy Robe Awardees for ANNIE

Before the curtain of each public performance of an RGCT show, actors, stage managers, crew, and everyone associated with the play/musical gather onstage for the Legacy Robe ceremony. At the center of the stage will be a representative of the RGCT Production Staff for the project AND the most recent honored legacy if they are available. The most recently honored legacy wears the robe that is decorated with mementos from past shows. The RGCT Production Staff representative tells the history of the ritual, introduces the former wearers of the Legacy Robe, recognizes company members who are having their stage and/or RGCT debut, and announces the newest recipient from the company of the current production. The new recipient puts on the robe, and circles the stage counter-clockwise three times as everyone touches the robe for good luck.
