Snapshots of History 20

This week's snapshot comes from the mid-to-late 1940s. It shows a very rare view of the front of the Robinson Grand during that time. The young woman in the photo is Clarksburg's own Jeanne Marsh. Jeanne worked at the Robinson Grand under Madge Douds from 1943-to-1950. Jeanne has graciously shared many stories and memories during her time at the theater. In addition, she is also sharing some photographs and documents to help gain insight into that era. We thank Jeanne and her impeccable memory and look forward to sharing many more photos and stories.

Do you have a photo, artifact, or story about the Robinson Grand or Rose Garden? We would love to see and hear it! Please share your information here, and we will be sure to contact you.
