“Comedy for a Cause” with the Fearless Fools at the Robinson Grand

Clarksburg, WV – Laughter heals the soul and virtual audiences from all over will have the chance to do just that! The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center will be hosting Vintage Theatre Company’s Fearless Fools “Comedy for a Cause” on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 8:00 pm. Join us on the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center Facebook page or the Robinson Grand YouTube page for a live-streamed improv show to support the theatre during this pandemic.

Vintage Theatre Company prides itself on its ability to bring the performing arts by West Virginians to West Virginians. As the state’s newest professional, non-union, theatre company, VTC enriches the communities they serve economically, socially, and culturally. Vintage Theatre Company works to be the best of a certain kind and to share that product with the best of the country, West Virginia.

The Fearless Fools are West Virginia’s premier professional comedy troupe. Specializing in a unique blend of short-form and long-form improv, the Fools frequently fuse their performances with stand-up and original sketch comedy.

"This pandemic is teaching us the value of partnerships and the need for the artistic community to come together and support each other as we navigate these difficult and uncertain times. We are excited to be able to work with the Robinson Grand to create this unique fundraising event. The Robinson Grand is the diamond at the center of the Jewel of the Hills,” explains Jason A. Young, Vintage Theatre Company Founding Producer and Artistic Director.

This production is sponsored by Ben Queen Photography and includes the hard work of numerous volunteers behind-the-scenes: video production is done by Craig Snider of Geminye Studios with Ben Queen and Kyle Jenkins of Ben Queen Photography and the Sound Engineer, Jason Pulice.

The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center remains committed to holding strong during this unprecedented pandemic. Patrons will be able to show support through viewership of the performance and donations will be accepted via mail-in check to the RGPAC, Attn. Ryan Tolley, 222 West Main Street, Clarksburg WV 26301 or via PayPal.

All donations will help the Robinson Grand continue to sustain during this difficult time and ensure it remains a vibrant beacon of the arts and in our community for years to come.
